Ya know that place? Smells like fish? Yes, Kalk Bay. Us, South Africans, I have to admit, are very negative people. We always look at the bad side of things, like Kalk Bay: "Gross, that place smells like fish, and I'm sick of always eating Kalkys and being forced to listen to that old lady's annoying voice when she calls out the numbers". Why don't we, for a change, look at everything from a positive view? Kalk Bay. The place with an amazing view of the ocean. The beautiful boats. The handmade paintings of Africa that expresses our true South African Culture. I think that's why I enjoy blogging, it gives you this opportunity to see your city in the eyes of a tourist. You'll be suprised at how amazing our country actually is when you appreciate what is here more than finding ways to get out.
