Finding My Style

Image
Whenever I get asked this question (hardly ever) about who inspires me fashion-wise, I simply cannot answer it. I'm not a believer in that you have one person that you get all your fashion inspiration from and love everything about their style. What I do is, I get inspiration from aspects of other influencer's style or clothing and interpret it into my own style. Just like my personality, I go through phases of what I love and don't love when it comes to fashion. If I could describe my style in 3 words it would be: Comfortable, Monochromatic (well, at the moment) and Experimental. I always used to stay away from popular trends. It was always so stressful watching everyone wear exactly the same thing, in the same way. It was like uniform. Everyone owning the same pair of Adidas and wearing it the same time. Nah bro, miss me with that, But, nowadays, I LOVE trends. I think I've found a way to use the popular trends and pair it with items and make it more to suit m...

Good day fellow readers. Clifton 2nd // Fire Jam

Image
I have not been at the beach since forever so I was thrilled to attend the Fire Jam on Clifton 2nd. Basically, the Fire Jam is just a few people on the beach, entertaining us with their skills in well, playing with fire. It's a free event and is from 7pm-10pm but get there early, it gets quite full. Also, other tips for attending the Fire Jam or any beach event// - Pack light, don't bring an umbrella or an awkwardly large picnic bag, bring things that are easy to move around. - Don't settle close to the water, high tide will come and soak EVERYTHING. - Pack in a blanket/towel to sit on and a blanket to cover yourself with (the beach gets quite cold at night) - Don't bother bringing a chair with, you don't want to block anyone's view Camera Settings// ISO//200 Shutter//0"4 Apeture//f5.6 ^if taking photos is a really important part of your experience, be a lil extra and take a tripod with, you wont regret it especially with such a slow shutter...
