What have I been doing? \\ StyleXposure


Good day fellow readers. I haven't posted anything on here in quite a while mainly because I am still trying to figure out what I actually want to focus on creating content about. 

Speaking of creating content, if you follow me on my Instagram and YouTube you've probably seen bits and pieces of something called "styleXposure". So this blog post is dedicated to explaining what that is, and what I have been up to lately with regards to that.

Okay, so about a month back I was contacted by StyleAfrica, and was asked to be a part of this experience that could be life changing in my blogging/content creating career. StyleXposure is a collaboration of brands such as StyleAfrica and Fujifilm, which came together to help potential bloggers like myself to grow in the industry.

So, let me just break it down for you. 6 potential influencers were chosen from Cape Town to be a part of this competition, hosted by StyleXposure. We would compete against eachother for 6 months in creating amazing content. Each month we will be given a task to complete and resources such as cameras etc will be provided to us by styleXposure. 

Long story short, winning this competition would honestly just be a bonus , there are no words to describe how excited I am to just do something I enjoy, which is , well, creating content. I'm so amped to be inspired and to inspire and just to be creative and I am so honoured that styleXposure can provide me with the resources to improve my creative ideas and turn those ideas into a reality.

Tell It Like It Is | Side Chicks

Side Chicks are totally bad and can ruin your relationship. But, guys, we know you most of you want one. I'm not giving any scientific facts, I'm simply just stating what we were all thinking anyway. Nobody wants to be someone's side chick, am I right? If you think of it, it's not all bad being a side chick (I'm not saying this from experience). I know, who would ever think that being a side chick is actually great? But, seriously, just take the time to think of it. You get the main chick and the side chick. The main chick is the actual girlfriend that everyone knows about and your Instagram selfie buddy with the hashtag #InstaCouple. But then you get the side chick. Not everyone knows about her, probably not even your main chick. But your side chick knows she's your side chick. Grey Area

I've BEEN wanting to wear this coat and pants for the longest time. I took the opportunity when I travelled to Johannesburg ( #CozyInJozi ) recently to build an outfit around these 2 pieces.  Firstly, this coat: SO COMFY. I wore it on the airplane and it felt like a blanket/gown. I feel like it elevates any outfit and it's such an essential piece. It's not the warmest coat ever, it's pretty thin, but I don't mind as it allows me to layer underneath and it gives a more relaxed oversized fit. Okay, the pants. I've been eyeing these at Cotton On ever since it released. The fit of it is amazing and I love the slits at the bottom. I always have this problem when I wear flare pants that You can't see my shoes because my feet are so small. This is a game changer for me and I'll definitely be wearing it more.
