Happy 46th Birthday Norman Henshilwood

Every year I'm excited for our schools birthday, there's always exciting things happening the whole week!!!
This week was also literature week, so there were many things literaturical happening.
On Friday, we could dress up as any character from a novel. Last year we could dress up as anything so there was more of a variety to choose from. But it was strict rules that it had to be a book character. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a book worm. The only books I've read was the Hunger Games series. The Hunger Games is my favorite book this far in life, so I've decided to come as Katniss, the main character of the story.

I came to school dressed as Tinkerbell, but my friend, that was Peeta (another character from hunger games) with me, brought wet suits so we can change at school. How ironic going from a fairy to a warrior type of girl on fire.
I borrowed a bow and arrow from my friend, and if I do say so myself, we looked legit!!!
Maybe it was because we were Katniss and Peeta together? The other girls that dressed up as Katniss looked pretty amazing, they all wore leather jackets since that is kind of her attire in the first book. We went as the second book, when they battle it out in wetsuits, I think. LOL.

But anyway, the last Birthday I will experience of Norman Henshilwood was amazing. Oh yeah, we won First prize for best dressed!!! I was glad I actually changed the morning, because I was doubting myself. Note to self: Don't wear pantihose under a wetsuit (it's crazy hot).
