Celebrity Style Crush | Jessica Alba

Okay, I normally don't talk about clothes and fashion and all those other shenanigans, but I felt the need to share my love for Jessica Alba's style.
So, Jessica Alba is known for her 'effortlessly cool' on-the-go look. I know this may sound weird, but I love how comfortable she always looks! I know that it's peculiar that I am a 17 year old crushing over a 33 year old mom's style, but throughout the years, Jessica never disappoints.

Here are a few of my favorite things about Jessica's style:

Basically, I love how Jessica can wear all these different pieces but work it into looking effortlessly chic. And the one thing I admire most about Alba, that I also live by, is that she hates it when people tell her what to wear. And when I say 'people' I mean the media, society, and those fashion peer pressurers. She wears what she feels, not caring I it's too 'safe' or too 'outrageous' for anyone.

May the odds be ever in your favour... Every year I'm excited for our schools birthday, there's always exciting things happening the whole week!!! Side Chicks are totally bad and can ruin your relationship. But, guys, we know you most of you want one. I'm not giving any scientific facts, I'm simply just stating what we were all thinking anyway. Nobody wants to be someone's side chick, am I right? If you think of it, it's not all bad being a side chick (I'm not saying this from experience). I know, who would ever think that being a side chick is actually great? But, seriously, just take the time to think of it. You get the main chick and the side chick. The main chick is the actual girlfriend that everyone knows about and your Instagram selfie buddy with the hashtag #InstaCouple. But then you get the side chick. Grey Area

I've BEEN wanting to wear this coat and pants for the longest time. I took the opportunity when I travelled to Johannesburg ( #CozyInJozi ) recently to build an outfit around these 2 pieces.  Firstly, this coat: SO COMFY. I wore it on the airplane and it felt like a blanket/gown. I feel like it elevates any outfit and it's such an essential piece. It's not the warmest coat ever, it's pretty thin, but I don't mind as it allows me to layer underneath and it gives a more relaxed oversized fit. Okay, the pants. I've been eyeing these at Cotton On ever since it released. The fit of it is amazing and I love the slits at the bottom. I always have this problem when I wear flare pants that You can't see my shoes because my feet are so small. This is a game changer for me and I'll definitely be wearing it more.
