Mr Price Fashion - How I Shop

I've heard MANY people shy away from purchasing from Mr Price as a lot of  their items come across as "cheap". When it comes to Mr P, I think I've nailed on how to shop there to make your outfits look put together and expensive.

Here are 3 of my tips:

1. The plainer the better

I ALWAYS try to find items with ZERO writing. We all love a good "SWAG" on our crewnecks now and then, but let's  be honest, it can spoil the entire look. I'm always trying to look for items that have no words or images, this gives the look a more expensive feel.

2. Always keep up to date with new items

If you don't have the MrP App, download it now. It's SUPER user friendly and i'll check it out at least once a week to see the new items loaded. All the good stuff gets sold out quickly and some stuff are only sold online.

Even not just on the app/online, but even in stores: I always walk around the store whenever I am in a mall to see what's new. I have no intention of buying anything, but just seeing what's available can give you so much inspiration.

3. Fast Fashion Trends

I won't REAAALLLY go buy something from Mr P if i'm expecting to keep it for a long time and hand it over to my future children one day. I'm usually purchasing from them when I see a cool trend and I'm not sure how it will fit my vibe and I want to try an inexpensive version of it. For example, Patchwork jeans are so trendy right now. Do I see it transforming into my staple long term wardrobe? Well, I don't know. Mr P had such a nice and affordable pair for me to purchase and I'm glad I came across it.

You don't want to get "investment pieces" from Mr P. With saying that, I do get many of my odd basics there such as my plain turtlenecks etc. But if I am looking for something that I know I'd want in my wardrobe forever and I know I'd wear a lot, I'd try a store with better quality even though I am paying more than double the price.

I am always buying trendy jewelry and hats from Mr Price, but if I am looking for a GOOD fitting jeans that I want to keep for a long time, I'd go somewhere else with better quality.
