Happy New Year :)

So, I've spent the last few moments of 2013 in some place in George ( in the Eastern Province i think). It's kind of sad that the last time I spent new years in Cape Town was about probably 5 years ago. I've always wanted to be in Cape Town during New Years, hopefully, at the end of 2014, it will be my lucky time.
Every single year we do the same thing. I'm on my phone reading everyones fun new years tweets and statuses while my parents and siblings sleep in the tents on camp wherever we are.
This time,I wanted something more fun.
I couldnt stand spending it the same way I always did for the past 5 years.
Luckily, a few of my cousins were camping with us this/last year, so we weren't that lonely. I decided since I can't go to a new years party (too much alcohol),I'll bring a party to us. Even if it wasn't a party but just a fun countdown. I went to the shop, bought streamers, sparklers, string and confetti spray. We invited all our camp aquiantances for the countdown (I suck at making friends on camp, so they are aquiantances) and it ended up to be the most fun new years ever. Fireworks weren't allowed in the campsite,  but we decided to use them anyway and run away when the security guards came.
If it wasn't for me complaining about how boring new years always is, we probably would of spent it sleeping in our tents, how fun.
This shows how speaking up can actually make a difference. It doesn't matter where you are or who you are with on New Years, but a little fireworks, streamers, and string spray can mentally increase your self-esteem so you won't be jealous of all those other teenagers actually having a great time on New Years eve.
2013? That was a perfect year ♥It never passed by too fast, nor too slow. I achieved many things during the year,  not only in schoolwork. I've made new friends, bonded with my old ones. Made it on to the exec and became best friends with 5 amazing people. I received my ID that looks like crap :) yeah, thats 2013 for ya.
As for camp, yeah, it was chilled.
I had the opportunity to use my waterproof camera again, and suprisingly the photos actually came out pretty cool :) the sea water was amazingly crystal clear,  yes, I took underwater photos in the seawater!!! Ahh!!! K.
